El Salvador's National Park!

El Salvador National Park!

There's a great park in El Salvador, call "El Cerro Verde". This is a majestic park, you will see many species of birds, butterflies and wild flowers in its surroundings. I was amazed to see so much beauty surrounding the tall and shaded trees throughout the park. At the top of the park, you can rest and have lunch, where you will also see a gorgeous view overlooking the "Coatepeque Lake" and the Santa Ana Volcano shown above.

Is amazing to be on the Costa del Sol and walk barefooted on the soft and warm sandy beach. If you have never experience something like it, this is a great time to visit El Salvador. Flights to El Salvador range from $390 to $500 per person during the time of March and August, the sooner you book your flight the better price you'll get. El Salvador's Mountains!

El Salvador Mountains!
The Picture on the side was taken in Monte Cristo's park, is called the Tree of Love, you will know why?

One of the most amazing mountains and highest peak of El Salvador I have visited, was the mountain of Monte Cristo. This mountain is called the "Christ's Bush", located in Metapan, Santa Ana in El Salvador. The highest peak of Monte Cristo is called the " El Trifinio" in English, "three ends", was named after knowing that three different countries borders lay on this highest peak which are El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. We made it to the top a little before 3pm. I was one of the first one from the pack to arrive to the destination of "El Trifinio", it was beautiful. The overlook of the mountains, mist and fog was amazing!
The Mountain of Monte Cristo has also a wonderful garden of various wild plants and flowers. This place is much like a paradise, very intriguing and unforgettable. There's a camping site halfway at the mountain, were cars and trucks can drive up to. We camp for a night, but if you do ever camp at the mountain of Monte Cristo, make sure you bring lots of blankets and tent for a very cold night.
It was amazing, this is a must when visiting El Salvador!
